Who taught you how to knit/crochet and how long have you been doing it?

I have been teaching myself since I was about 13 years old (I am now 64) and still only know the basics. I still remember my first project, an emerald green crochet top for my sister.

What's your favorite fiber?

I don't have any particular favorite.

If you were stranded on a deserted island with loads of cashmere and rosewood needles (or hooks), what would you make?

A hammock to relaxt in and enjoy the view of the oceon.

For you, does knitting/crocheting seem like it's going to be a passing fancy or a lifelong passion? (Hint: If you've been doing it for more than 3 years, I think we already have your answer.) :)

It is something I like to do to relax and can take it anywhere with no particular project in mind.

Introduction

My husband ad I recently moved to Cedar Park to be close to some of our grand children and. This is the 15th move for my family and for the first time I will not be working so hope to have time for the things I love.
