Who taught you how to knit/crochet and how long have you been doing it?

My grandmother taught me how to do both as a child and I picked up knitting again from a book in my mid twenties.

What's your favorite fiber?

If you were stranded on a deserted island with loads of cashmere and rosewood needles (or hooks), what would you make?

A blanket because I am always cold.

For you, does knitting/crocheting seem like it's going to be a passing fancy or a lifelong passion? (Hint: If you've been doing it for more than 3 years, I think we already have your answer.) :)

I always go back to knitting. It is relaxing and does not impede good conversation.

I have been knitting for years but my purling could use some help. I am ready to move past the single stitch scarf onto bigger and better things. I also miss celebrating other people's crafty accomplishments.
