Who taught you how to knit/crochet and how long have you been doing it?

I learned how to crochet from a friendly woman who was a chaperon for Girls State. I was 17 so I have be doing it for 10 years. I taught myself how to knit about 6 or 7 years ago. I just watched some YouTube videos.

What's your favorite fiber?

Goat hair

If you were stranded on a deserted island with loads of cashmere and rosewood needles (or hooks), what would you make?

Clothes (bikini), shelter (the floor and ceiling is 1 piece), traps (incase a wild man lived on the island) ;-)

For you, does knitting/crocheting seem like it's going to be a passing fancy or a lifelong passion? (Hint: If you've been doing it for more than 3 years, I think we already have your answer.) :)

I will always knit/crochet. I don't do it everyday but I know I can always come back to it when I need to.

I'm a 27 year old, mother of 4.i just moved here from NM and I am looking forward to making some great friendships.
