Visualization: Hypnosis for Combating Stress
Did you know emotions caused by prolonged stress can have a physical effect on the body? That's right, the hypothalamus, known as the emotional center of the brain, transforms emotions into physical responses in the body. Visualization, a form of self-hypnosis, in conjunction with positive suggestions can help counter the effects of negative emotions and stress on the body and is often used to promote healing.
In this meetup you will learn how visualization helps the mind and body work together to release negative emotions and reverse the effects of stress on the body. You will also learn and practice a visualization technique to release negative emotions.
No previous hypnosis experience is necessary.
