Not Doing: A Key Productivity Strategy

Goal setting is one of the most talked about topics in business, personal development, and management.  Yet many systems and theories about goal setting leave out one of the most important tools of productivity:  NOT doing.

Not doing includes breaks, changes of pace, and engaging your subconscious mind and body in relaxing, letting go, and not focusing on anything particular.  In this evening presentation, expect to experience 3 different "not doing" exercises you can use to allow goals and solutions to arise easily and naturally.

Join Keith Fail is his annual goal setting update at the Austin NLP Meetup for this NEW material based on the latest findings about productivity.

Keith helped start the Austin NLP Meetup in 2003.  His upcoming classes include the 16-day NLP Practitioner class here in Austin, Texas:

Where's a good place near the Samaritan Center to catch some wifi & (semi-healthy) food before the meetup? I think Sherlocks may be too loud for my mood today. :P

It is a little bit away, but Whole Foods at 183 and mopac might be the closest and fit both criteria. Wifi there is Genuine Joe's Coffeehouse, food there are restaurants just across 183.

For future reference, I like Alborz Persian Cuisine for healthy-ish food nearby. I don't think they have wifi but the food is good.

Oops sorry no wifi at Trudy's, there's Chili's on the corner of Burnet and 183, up to you to check for wifi there.

May I ask how late the program will go tonight?

The program tends to go until 8:30-8:45. A lot of times a group meets afterwards for food or drinks nearby.

If you haven't been to Samaritan Center before, plan a few extra minutes for your first trip! Look for it on the south bound 183/Research access road, immediately AFTER Sherlock's. See ya there!
