The beer is on Bigcommerce at the Oct 30th PHP meetup!

A high growth “startup” here in Austin, we just received our Series C funding from Revolution Partners and are building out our internal development team as part of our plans for e-commerce domination.  We are looking for engineers with a passion for open-source programming who thrive in Agile environments and have a general bent towards the badass.  We love PHP,  but our focus is not necessarily on the specific language, but rather on writing clean, scalable code that makes sense.

Our internal development team is responsible for a variety of projects and has autonomy over their code and project level responsibility.  If you are looking for a place where your day-to-day work builds solutions for clients, without being boxed into a specific language or the overall product architecture, you have found it!  At Bigcommerce, you get to do all of this, plus enjoy free snacks, beer, stock options and a super-casual, engineer friendly environment.

Our tech recruiter will be at the meeting to answer any questions about BC or her recent trip to Vegas – both have some very interesting stories!

Wear your AustinPHP shirt if you have one!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
