The Acton School of Business is looking for a Senior Software Engineer with a middleware focus.

Responsibilities:
Participate in the planning and execution of our technology strategy.
Design and deliver applications and modules based on business requirements.
Write testable and maintainable code that you are proud of!
Help maintain current applications.

Architecture Skills Needed:
You understand design trade-offs and can leverage the stack you have or evolve and innovate it into what is required.
You can help reduce risk by developing prototypes and validating performance impact independently.
You can service the architecture you sell.

Dev Skills Needed:
Expert PHP with solid experience in MVC framework enviroments.
Strong grasp of OOP patterns relevant to PHP.
Experience at scale with MySQL and Mongo back-ends.
AJAX mastery.
Just enough CSS and HTML5 to get the job done.
SVN and/or GIT Version control using an IDE such as Eclipse.
Experience working in a continuous testing and integration environment.
Experience supporting front-end developers implementing responsive AJAX based applications.

Requirements:
Experience working in an agile environment.
4+ years of professional PHP experience.
Highly motivated and a self-driven attitude.
Great sense of humor!
