I'm an avid fire arts enthusiast who just moved to the beautifully eclectic Austin scene. I've been doing poi for about 2 years and recently picked up ropedart. Looking forward to learning and sharing with you all!
At first, I just wanted to do it because of how mesmerizing it was as an onlooker at raves in Los Angeles. But I stuck around for the moving-meditation aspect and flow of this art, especially when fire spinning! Just amazing.
Just food. Sushi, pork belly, coffee, and good beer rank pretty highly, though!
Not sure... At the very least, I would love to spend an evening conversing with Milla Jovovich in a cheesy Russian accent over Spanish wine and German brats.
The Himalayas! Except I probably would find some quantum loophole and stay there indefinitely ;)
Hi Maui, thanks for joining! You're right, it's much easier to learn from another person than it is from a book. I hope you can join us for a meetup soon!
Welcome to The Expedition School meetup! Please let us know if you have any questions or are looking for specific training or education. We are hosting a lake clean-up on Saturday if you would like to stop by and meet us. Thanks, Kim Sorensen Assistant director, The Expedition School
Hi Maui! Great name! Welcome to the hiking group. I am very excited about our future hikes and adventures. Hope to see you the 30th!
Hey we live sort of near each other. Seems like most other folks on this forum live a lot further away. I'm looking for some sanity in southern Wake County. If you want to hang out, let me know. :)
