“ Because it gives pug / pug mix owners a chance to meet others to have fun and share concerns. The dogs enjoy themselves as well, romping around with their own kind. Bugsy feels so comfortable with the pugs, but when he is with other breeds he acts distant...funny. ”
— Sara on Apr 6, 2009.

“ I think it was great! I really appreciate the opportunity to get my pug a 'tune-up' and donate to a worthy cause. The only suggestion I have is to perhaps start earlier next year - maybe 10 or 11am so that 'early birds' can get there early and then the line might spread out?? I'm not too sure about that because this is the first one I've attended, but it's just a thought. I would like to think next year's will be even bigger. Thanks for all of your hard work to put this event on! ”

“ In comparison to other pug meetups I have gone to, I thought this was the most unorganized one of all. I was prepared to pay a fee for being there, but no one to collect. I wanted to meet the coordinator, but no one there except some lady who adopts or something like that. It wasn't for just pugs as I had anticipated. There were large dogs running all over and it was disappointing to me. ”
— Deborah Franzen on Oct 8, 2006.
