Growing up in NYC, walking, stairs and doing groceries without a car or an elevator, were just a regular part of life. After we moved to S. Florida, I did weights, Jazzercise, and learned how to scuba dive, then snorkel, but still don't have that swimming thing down. I hadn't done much by way of fitness over the past 10-12 years until recently when I started walking again, doing yoga and Zumba.
I hope to find a fun outlet for strength training. Going to the gym and counting reps just does not sound appealing.
My husband and I moved to the Austin area almost 5 years ago. Among my many and varied interests are spending active time outdoors, travel, learning about other cultures and music.
Great group for people of all ages and fitness levels that are interested in training for life.
