First, apologies -- we are REALLLY late getting this announcement out. For those of you who don't know, this month we've been focused on preparing our proposal for Austin to host PyCon in 2016. In the mad rush, we accidentally let our meetup announcement slip by.
However, we decided that tomorrow night is a great opportunity for everyone in the Python community to get together and review the state of our bid for PyCon. Kevin Mooney will spend some time discussing what we've been working on, how the document is coming together, and what we need to do in the next week to get it finalized.
This is a great chance to come by and see how you can help, as well as provide any last-minute ideas to help polish our document. Austin is an awesome town for Python, so we want to make sure the PyCon folks feel the same way.
After the PyCon discussion, a group will be heading over to Gingerman to hang out, although the awesome folks working on the document will probably keep cramming. :) Normal talks will resume next month, with an emphasis on queueing.
Hope to see you tomorrow night!
