Heya, Tracy, it's been a while! Hope everything is going well for you. I wish I could make it to trampoline dodgeball today but I already have other plans. I'll see you at another natural movement event though.

Enchanted Rock has primitive camping on the far side of the rock.
Park is beautiful, don't know much about the primitive side.
No bison to hunt. :(
Bonus is dessert in Fredericksburg after. :)

Do something fairly simple 1st time then try to put together a
group for more adventurous. IMHO.

An idea for summer is kayak to Matagorda Island. You can carry a LOT
of stuff in a kayak.

May have to rent a porta pottie, unless people ready for really primative.
Hope to hook up with the group and become involved.
Incidentally, I spent over 20 years Socal, including LA.
