We are an Austin meetup group that loves Weimaraners. We are eager to meet other Weim owners and lovers in and around the Austin area. We meet at Austin dog parks and other dog friendly places. Our dogs enjoy playing together, and we enjoy talking about our dogs.
We also want to extend a welcome to owners of German Shorthaired Pointers (GSP). We know that there are some GSP out there (indeed one, Henry, has already been welcome at our meetups), but there is no GSP meetup; and that Weimaraners, GSP, and Vizslas are all cousin breeds (and there is already a thriving Austin Vizsla group). So, it seems to make sense. Perhaps we will have so many new GSP members that they may want to start a separate GSP group, but we are not there yet.
