As part of the WordPress Focus on Content, let's take 15 minutes to look at some of our attendees' sites and give peer reviews.
- We'll start with two minutes for you to present your site (both built or are just beginning to build) and your mission statement (you have one, right?)
Then we'll ask the questions:
- What are you trying to do with having a web site?
- Who is your audience?
- What kinds of information will you be posting?
- Why are you doing this?
- How often are you going to be post and add information?
And the group will help you determine whether or not the site achieves your goals.
A reminder, that by content, we are referring to the overall texture or aura of your website, such as the overall presentation, the use of colors/graphics, readability (not the editorial content or what's written), usability (site navigation), and in general, whether there are other WordPress features, tools, or plugins that might enhance the users or even your experience.
The goal of reviewing sites is to be practical, helpful, and encourage good WordPress practices.
After we review a few sites, time permitting, we will spend the latter part of the meetup on general conversation and questions.
