Hi Asima,
My kid is 3 years old and he is going to Oasis school and their fees is 50,000 but they ask the parents how much they can pay and we agreed on 30,000. the fees selection is up to u if u cannot pay at all then they will find the sponsors for u. But if ur child is a mild case or having PDD-NOS then oasis is not the option for u then u should go for a mainstream school who agree to take children with learning challenges. According to my knowledge there are few schools in lahore
Lahore Grammer School of paragon city
Lahore Montessori behind gulberg college
TNS of beaconhouse

Thanks saira, summer camp is a good idea, i hope that summer camps will not have any problem to take my son as he loves to play with kids, like jumping, running all the hyper active actions he loves to follow with other kids, i was just wasting time n it was not in my mind to start trial bases from summer camps.

GOD bless u n yr family.

The toughest problem for parents is the schooling. We have such a lack of infrastructure that parents have to really struggle when it comes to proper schooling. For my son I changed four schools till grade 1.it is not easy. I would say start with a school that have a summer camp where you can also stay with the child if needed. This will give you an idea of what are your Childs needs and challenges.
Later in September you can start him in a smaller school for a short time and see how does that go. Tell the school that you want your child to only socialize at school and you will take care of the academic part urself . That takes pressure off from school so they are more ready to help you. Tell them you will also provide strategies to deal with your child. And work closely with the school on your Childs IEP.
At home hire tutoring help and work with ur child urself extensively to help his learning .

He needs to be diagnosed asap and treated appropriately by trained professionals on daily basis. This is a 24/7 job and requires training both at the institution and home.
I suggest you take him abroad, Singapore, UK, USA for diagnostics and genetic tests for a closure on what he actually has. Alternatively you could take him to Singapore, for which I could schedule appointments if you like, and there you could manage all the above at a single stop, as to say.

Assalam o alakium,

My son is 3.6 n mild but non verbal n his behavior is very bad specially when we go out , he is very hyper active but after some sittings in school he will be in controll inshALLAH , i checked his IQ n he is between 1.5 to 2 yrs, pls advs what should i do now ? should i wait for 1 more year so that his fungtional age would be around 3 n then send him to school ? is there any school who will take him after summer vacations even only on trial ? i m taking him to behaviour modification in "amin maktab" but they r giving 2 classes in a week along with 15 other kids n its not enough for him.

amin maktab(school) is in gulburg n its very far from our house as we r living in bahria town lahore (multan road), pls advs if any school or institute for behavior modification/ speech theraphy near our location.

regards
asima
