hello,
i m also using homeopathy for my son.he also had severe constipation a year ago.why i consulted my homeo physician,he told me that sometimes when children are fed on formula milk, their instestines are affected, and if it leads to constipation,we should give 'alumina' to these children.now by the grace of god,my child never had constipation again.if anybody wants to use this medication, plz consult your homeophysician for the dosage and potency because it may vary for different individuals.
with best wishes,

another angle to homeopathy. i also gave up ritalin as i was scared that my son would become an addict. then i came to know about a doctor at shujah abad and went there.the amazing aspect was that he would tell about the prob byfeeling the pulse.he is basically a nabbaz.what he said i later reasd on net.although the presentation was different.
it is slow treatment but worth a try.

Most Homeopathic doctors measure heart beat and pulse to form their diagnosis, I have not read much about homeopathy, and there is no fully conclusive evidence, however the dosages that the homepaths give is simillar to balancing vitamin deficiency or induce chelation as is done with conventional medicines. Most parents here have had positive results, but very little is written about this on the internet.

parents must keep in mind that in MOST cases, the homepath doctor referred to is not a degree holder or diploma holder, neither is he qualified to give the RIGHT medicines, but most homepath doctors give steroids and strange metal powders mixed with water to children, in most cases there is immediate improvement which stops as you stop giving that homepath medicine. There are SOME very few qualified and proven homepath doctors, but they are ahrd to find, you may want to take the advice of regular doctors or other parents to find these few qualified and safe homeopathic doctors, dont take your child to just any homepath, do your asking around and reference research first. It is safer to ask advice of normal doctor about this topic, especially if they have knowledge of autism.

Can parents share the name of doctors who they have used for homepathy, and if they had a positive experience with these doctors

Aoa Qazi Sahib,
i am sorry, but i have to disagree with your comments about alternative medicine and specifically homeopathy.

Not every homeopath is a fraud, as you are trying to say.

My son had regressed due to a reknown, qualified and experienced child specialist of my city.and he has shown some improvement with homeopathy.

As he is suffering from autism and lyme disease at the same time so his progress is relatively slow, but still i am satisfied.

Homeopathy is by far the most safe and gentle mode of treatment with least side effects. So, if any body wants to treat their child with homeopathy, make sure he is well qualified and experienced as you would do with any other practitioner.and then leave the rest to GOD.

Being alternative doesnt means it is always bad or dangerous!!!

take care,

Nadia
P.S if any body is interested in homeopathy, they are most welcome for the questions..

I agree with azeem's statement below as he is trying to caution the parents to exercise their parental responsibility and right in making the correct treatment choices for their kids...I would like to know the name and telephone number, approximate treatment cost along with positive affects and/or names and number of children whose autism cure has been achieved by some of the homepaths if its not too much of a trouble..thanks.

saima ijaz.

if you google autism and homeopathy, u will find a lot of information about it.

to name just one of them, their website is www.homeopathyhouston.com.

They have almost 40-50 cured cases of autism.

i agree that they cost a lot and most of the families here in Pakistan cannot afford them, that is why i always encorage parents to go to a local reputable homeopathic practitioner.

the most important thing is although homeopathy can do wonders, but a well planned structured training program for our kids is still very very important.

Do we ignore everything we have learned about sensory integration? behavioral motivations? Neurology?
What about the genetic makeup? The work of those canadian scientists?

I am very sorry to sound like a broken record...homeopathy and general medicine are designed to help alleviate symptoms...not to cure...autism is a spectrum disorder, not a disease...
those parents whose children have identified genetic mutations, rett syndome, or downs /autism, or those parents whose children have auditory processing disorder or visual problems or sensory integration disorder...many, many other forms of complex autism which are not cured... those parents need to be given more than just a handful of herbs and vitamins ...I am one of those parents. And I know what i have gone thru

So for all of those silent majority- who cannot even talk about their child on this forum- know this, every child can learn, no matter how severe. Our child is living proof of the power of effective education and therapy. Please, do not give up if you cannot find that "miracle cure."
Sometimes it is a marathon, not a sprint to win the race.
Don't lose heart.

shazia, those are some really touching words and I can probably exactly feel the emotion that you must have felt while writing those words.Repeatedly ,few of us have have been trying to convince all the parents that they have much more than they think they do and its only when they will open their eyes to reality and start working with their child positively with proven interventions they will see the miraculous results they have always been waiting for.

I hope that all the kids with autism can make their parent see how blessed they are to have a child with lot of challenges but at the same time with lot of unique talents, purity of heart and unconditional love. And the parents realize that its their responsibility to give this child opportunities to learning, living a full life and offering the world the amazing things he has to offer.

good luck to all parents and I can give one assurance that when you are on the right track no matter how slow the progress is you will reach your goals but if you are on the worng track ,then no matter how fast you run you will never reach your destination .so be careful in choosing your tracks because you are making decision not only for yourself but also for the little child who cannot stand up for himself and who is dependent on you to to guide him.
