Summer's end is rapidly approaching even though this Summer barely felt like Summer. In order to fight off the oncoming Autumn we must all gather at the Radegast Hall & Biergarten to pay homage to the weather gods, to consume generous quantities of beer and vittles, and most importantly to partake in deep discussion of all that is aviation. Please join us on Tuesday, August 18th at 6:30PM at the Radegast Hall & Biergarten in Williamsburg for some great beer, great food, and of course great hangar flying!

Always glad when people organize a party in my neighborhood, and there are so many good places around here...

Fantastic beer garden - very suitable for social interaction. Also, beer good.

A big thanks to Diane and Vlad for putting this together and keeping the NYCPG (Hanger Flyers) an active, growing group. The food was good, the beer was great (with a huge selection to choose from) and the company - the best. Translated: Lots of food, drink, and hanger flying. Many new and familiar faces made it a very enjoyable evening. We all walked away full, happy, and more informed as pilots. My son Joseph and I also took advantage of Dale's pre-dinner invitation to see his extensive collection of model airplanes. Kinda like a miniature Air and Space museum. Thanks Dale. Looking forward to our next meetup.

Hoped for the best, expected the worst and ended up having a great time! The beer was abundant in variety and quantity, the place had a nice atmosphere with plenty of elbow room, but it was getting together with members of this group, familiar friends and some new faces that made the evening a delight for me. Thank you Diane for graciously hosting and thank you to all members who came out and made the evening the success that it was.

Good opportunity to renew and make new acquaintances with a common interest (passion).

I have a work event that overlaps -- will be arriving late, after 7:30pm. Hope that's okay?

Larry, you can use WWW.HOPSTOP.COM. It's an excellent website for navigating the NYC subway.
