  I can't stop the tears. I hope the owner was thrown in jail for this. Poor mama...what she had to endure at the hands of this worthless human being.

  I checked and they are working on it. They have called Animal Control at the Putnam County Sheriff's Department. Dispatch claimed no knowledge but promised a phone call back today. They are presently waiting on phone calls from the authorities from 2 counties. After they get a response, they will decide the best way to proceed...whether to utilize the media or other avenues.
