That's why on May 25th 2013, rallies across the world are organizing, from Australia to Germany, from New York to California. A March against Monsanto is expected to take place.

How important is real, organic food to you? Do you want to support small farmers and their independence? Do you want to protect the future of the seed and health of your family?

I do not think SD had a similar experience. I think we were short of 1000 - police were very visible in Balboa Park and the mayor did not send a message. It was good to see a cross age of people present, although short on youth and senior people. Those who attended brought their signs and were very spirited in their verbal remarks, songs and chanting. AND the weather cooperated. I did not see any press coverage. I did hear a faint reference to the rally on KPBS this afternoon.

Nice turnout. I would guess that there were about 1000 people all together. The speakers were also very good. And the Mayor sent a message that got read and that was very positive and a nice validation of why we were there.
