Introduction

Looking to meet like minded individuals and learn more about the Objectivist philosophy

How did you first learn about the teachings of Ayn Rand? Have you embraced them as true? If so, when? If not, what are your hesitations?

First introduced to Rand in HS by friends. Purchased We the Living while attending college. Stumbled back upon the book and the philosophy when going through old college books. It appears that I have been more or less attempting to practice the Objectivist philosophy for most of my life, without really having it clearly defined as Rand has. I am still working to learn the ideas and values more clearly.

What Tony Tallarico is saying about this Meetup Group

Thanks to everyone that attended the last meeting, and for allowing me the opportunity to learn and participate. I look forward to the chance to continue to increasing my knowledge about Objectivism and to be with others that actually like to think-so few people actually like to excercise their brains these days. I learned quite a bit, and hope to see you all again soon.
