Selected By: Pete Ferry

Filled to our eyebrows with epistemology, we've decided to discuss some practical politics. Hazlitt, drawing upon the epistemological methods of Mises whom Rand admired, wrote articles and books on economics for the benefit of the layman.  That's us; let's find out.

I will think of this series of readings and discussions as dedicated to our resident econ professor, Dahlia M. Farewell and good luck, D. Our loss is their gain.

Reading and discussing EOL by Henry Hazlitt was challenging and satisfying, and we're only to page 19! No new pages are assigned, but we are looking for a helpful study guide to keep us on track re the text. As a starting point, EOL fueled multiple conversations covering epistemology, voting habits, psychology, von Mises and Rand, Frederic Bastiat, the ARI, and Leonard Peikoff. If you've enjoyed meeting with us in the past because of lively and ranging conversation, it's time to return. Next meeting is in three weeks.
