  • Just emailed you to say Manhattan a better place to get together. I see an email in as February asked if meeting venues were strictly limited to New Jersey. Think that's an awful idea if that's true. NYC is far more lively. The electricity hits you the second one arrives. In NJ, the only thing that hits you possibly is a falling leaf or squirrel nut, I expect!

  • Hi ken, Wow! This group rocks and you all rock. I like to commend you for all your efforts in organizing successful and fun filled events. I was looking for this type of meet up group for a long time and used to be a member of several meet up groups since 2007. I kind of stopped participating around February 2009, the time this group had come into existence. So I missed out on all those fun filled interesting events that you had organized and carried out. Now I can?t wait to have some fun.

  • Hi Ken...Thank you for the welcome. I look forward to maybe attending one of your meetups. For the diehard beach lovers, this is a beautiful time of year to be near the beaches still. That Pier village idea from Linda Buchsbaum sounds great, If you didn't already go or maybe would like to do it again at this time of the year. There is something for everybody there

  • Hi Ken, A closer beach that is free to seniors is Monmouth beach Pier village. You can park all day for $5 and there are stores and great places to eat and to walk. It is not as far as Pt Pleasant. Look up Pier Village. Linda B
