6th Annual Multi-APA Collective Toy Drive at KABIN

Mix and mingle with fellow Asian professionals at Kabin Lounge and Support our 6th Annual Toy Drive with doors opening at 6pm.

NAAAP-DC is proud to hold our annual cooperative event helping to collect toys for those who are less fortunate.

With less than 2 months til Christmas, several of the Asian Pacific American groups are working together to collect toys for those children who are in need.

We are collecting toys once again for DC Mayor's Office of Asian Pacific Islander Affairs and their "SHARE A SMILE, GIVE A TOY" campaign.

Over 300 Asian American children from under priviledged families in the DC area will not be getting holiday gifts for Christmas.

So, the Multi-APA collective of DC APA organizations and NAAAP-DC are working to collect the largest number of toys to this cause.

On December 12th, The Mayor's Office of Asian Pacific Islander Affairs will be distributing those collected toys to those families.

Please bring an unwrapped toy and take in the fun and networking spirit of the holidays. (If you don’t bring a toy, we ask for a minimum 10 dollar donation).

There will be raffles, drink specials, and fun!!

This will be one of the largest APA networking events. Every year it gets bigger. Last year we collected over $600 and 50+ toys, we want to do even more this year!!!

We are still seeking other organizations to come be a part of this.

As of today we have:

- Kollaboration DC

- DC Asian Pacific American Film (DC APA Film)

- Conference on Asian Pacific American Leadership (CAPAL)

- Asia Heritage Foundation

- Filipino Young Professionals of DC

If you and your organization want to participate, please contact Christian Oh.

Please spread the word and take time out of your schedule to help support this wonderful cause.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
