Hey everyone. I ran late and attended the function. It was a great event but unfortunately I wasn't able to meet anyone. However, I look forward to meeting everyone at the next together.

Looks likes this is going to be a nice one. I want to take some pointers from the lion dance to integrate into my own troop.

This is an all day festival from 10am to 6pm. But if you want to come and join us in the group, we'll meet up at 1pm inside the entrance to the school and wander the festival for a couple of hours. I'll be wearing a bright red shirt and a black fedora hat. My number in case- text, do not call-[masked]

Hello beautiful Asians! I'm moving from Western MD back to NoVA before Lunar New Year & looking forward to making new friends. Please email me directly if any of you wish to gather for brunch at 11:00-ish near Luther Jackson before heading to the Lunar New Year festivities.

Thanks for posting this, Joe! Yes, we would love to come, too. I want my 2-yr-old son to know Chinese culture. That is very important!

I really want to go to this Chinese New Year Festival. It looks like it may be the best organized one. There will be a bunch of CNY Festivals- some in DC, Maryland, and Virginia. I'll post those up here when I get more information and you guys can arrange to meet each other, eat out afterward, etc. using the comments section. Obviously I can't go to every single one!
