Finally, spring is here - and our May edition of the Berlin Tech Meetup. Join fellow geeks, entrepreneurs, hackers and investors for an evening of live demos from people or companies developing great technology.
As always, demos will typically be 5 minutes, each followed by Q&A. This is about technology, not PowerPoint company presentations!
Please be so kind to only register if you really intend to come and change your RSVP if your plans change. We always have a very long waiting list.
Please get in touch if you want to do a demo.
Thanks for the event. I had great talks afterwards with some CTOs about their backend systems.

Thank you for the five interesting advertisements.
Okay, it might just be me. I come from Budapest, where the local New Tech Meetup presentations have always (since 2007) been about actual tech issues, like one given problem developing a product or an algorithm, and how the team has overcome it. We got to know startups but we got something meaningful alongside that, with laid back chatter and beers afterwards, of which a great community had formed. Hell, one time we've got to check out an actual bare eye 3D display fresh out of the workshop.
In contrast, here I see mere self plugs with surprisingly aggressive networking afterwards. No tech discussions, no making new friends; everybody wants to know if you're an investor, if you can employ them or if they can employ you.
That might of course be just what people are looking for, and that's fine - but then please remove the misleading "this is about technology, not company powerpoints" part from the description.

What was the name of the app recommendation service? Although it was called like a Russian swear word, I liked the idea.

Hi, I'm Niek, co-founder of MoneyBird. It would be great if I could get in touch with some German freelancers who are using our product or plan to use MoneyBird in the nearby future. In the Netherlands we've got 45.000 users... but here in Germany, we just started... and you all know how difficult it is to get some feedback.
If you want to take a look, you can register for free at http://mnbrd.com/13NoOxq
(and yes, and we've also got an iPhone App) Thanks a lot guys, see you tonight!
