RFK at the Avenue Theater (A Purchase Your Own Ticket Event)

  • May 9, 2014 · 7:00 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

This tour-de-force one-man show breathes new life into the backstory of the Kennedy family. RFK creates a very human portrait of a politician and revisits some of the darker moments in U.S. History. Author Jack Holmes expands the well-known facts of a politician’s life into a stirring metaphor for the struggle to believe in our government and our leaders.

Bring a guest to the show!

Awesome performance. I was transported through a time warp to conventions past, events witnessed and tragic moments viewed on TV .
I can still felt the pain of 11/22/63, Memphis, that late night in June and hear the chant from Chicago 68, "The whole world is watching."
My present day question is what did we not learn from Vietnam that should have precluded Iraq? And why, having just seen a Kennedy heir on Tuesday, can't we find better leaders.
Hard questions indeed and worth asking.

Dinner 5pm before the show at the Avenue Grill. They have a reservation for 13 of us so far! Please post a note if you're joining us for dinner (especially if you haven't already) so I know who to expect. Thanks!

Howdy Debbie. I had a commitment come up unexpectedly that I have to honor. If someone takes my place, I can email them my will call confirmation for my ticket if they let me know their particulars. Sorry to miss this. I worked on Bobby's campaign.

Just got a call from the Avenue and they will offer us a $5 discount on the General Admission ticket only. Use code Avenue5 to receive this discount. Also, consider dinner at the Avenue Grille before the show. Make it known you want dinner too when you call or purchase online. See you there!

Great show! I've attended the production twice last year and highly recommend seeing this actor become Bobby. I'm thinking about going again. In a way, it's very bittersweet since it brings up so many "what could have been" questions and scenarios.
