Thought I'd get this posted now since early registration ends on January 11th! We don't have a team so register as an individual.
Join me for a beginner snowshoe at the annual Susan G. Komen "Romp to Stomp" for breast cancer research. The Romp consists of a 3k or 5k snowshoe walk or a 3k snowshoe race on a groomed trail. Tubbs, the sponsor, supplies FREE demo snowshoes. There's also a free pancake breakfast, vendors with give-aways, games and prizes.
Cost for the Romp: It's only $27 for early registration and includes the use of Tubbs snowshoes, a free pancake breakfast, lot's of give-aways, games and prizes. Register by Friday, January 11, 2012 to get this rate. After this date, the cost increases to $37. After 2/28/13 you can expect to pay $42 until the day of the event. The event is held at the Frisco Nordic Center.
Learn more about the Romp to Stomp, check the schedule of activities and register at http://tubbsromptostomp.com/co/registration/register_now
Carpooling: It's always nice to have company, so add a comment by your Yes RSVP if you want to carpool and where you're coming from.
Where to Meet Before Romp: Meet at the shuttle location at 7:15am. Look for me near the buses holding the red balloon. I will get on the first bus I can by 7:30am. If we miss each other, look for me at the pancake breakfast. The red balloon should be flying high!
Optional Lunch After the Romp: Meet the group for lunch at the Dillon Dam Brewery located at 100 Little Dam Road, [masked]-7777. We'll coordinate cell phone numbers and time at the Romp.
Optional Overnighter: Avoid ski traffic and leaving at the crack of dawn and make a long weekend out of it! Arrive on Friday before the Romp, mingle with other Boomers at the Pink Party, and return home after lunch or on Sunday. Check out the link to accomodations information...
See you there!
