Rosendales in the Short North was the winner of our poll for the venue location for July with 16 of 25 votes.

Raymond Ramos, the General Manager, has confirmed that we have a reservation for the upper balcony (and they are waiving the $250.00 room reservation fee for our group).

Chef Rosendale and his team will be preparing a special 3-course tasting menu with 3 wine pairings for our group.
I will post it here as soon as it is completed.
Cost will be only $59.95 PP plus tax & 18% gratuity.
Trust me, this is an extraordinary price for this venue.
The restauraunt will bill us individually.

We will collect an optional event fee of $5 which will be donated to charity. This month I am designating a new 501 C3 charity: The Semper Fi Fund for Injured Marines. Those donating $20 or more to the Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund will be placed in a drawing for special prizes including a 4-day Caribbean cruise for 2 adults or a 7-day condo vacation in the USA, Hawaii, Canada, Mexico, Caribbean, or Europe. (Yes, were doing it AGAIN!). We will do the drawing if we exceed $280 in donations for the evening. Otherwise, we will carry the drawing forward to the next Bacchus event.

       I really enjoyed the venue and the food was fantastic as well as the great Rosendale's staff 
    •  The small group size allowed us to get to know one another on a more intimate basis than at the previous Meetup. 
    •  Although the turnout was low, Rosendales rates in the top 2 of all restaurant venues we have attended in almost 2 years. The 3 course tasing menu was superb. Portions were large for a "tasting menu", and the wine pairings were outstanding. We were only charged $19.95 for the food (!) and $39 for 3 SUPERB full-pour wines, with extra for those who asked. Manager Raymond Ramos was a wonderful host, giving us a complete history of Rosendales and ensuring our evening was delightful. He even donated a $100 gift certificate which auctioned off for a full additional $100 for our charity. Our wait staff was cordial, efficient, and attentive. Food was brought out quickly. 5-stars.
