Barcelona Restaurant will recommend wine pairings which we can purchase from them at State Minimum.

We will collect an optional event fee of $5 which will be donated to charity. This month I am designating a new 501 C3 charity: The Semper Fi Fund for Injured Marines. Please make your check out to the Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund. Details: http://semperfifund.o... (fully tax deductible). I have included the option of giving your $5 donation in advance by paypal.

Those donating $20 or more to the Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund will be placed in a drawing for special prizes including a 4-day Caribbean cruise for 2 adults or a 7-day condo vacation in the USA, Hawaii, Canada, Mexico, Caribbean, or Europe. (Yes, were doing it AGAIN!). We will do the drawing if we exceed $280 in donations for the evening. Otherwise, we will carry the drawing forward to the next Bacchus event.

    • “ Probably should have ordered more wine. It was nice to have a smaller group around a smaller table. Maybe we should try a cluster of 4 and 6 person tables instead of a long banquet table? ”

I thought the size of the group was perfect although it was difficult to hold a conversation with people at the far end of the other table. The wine selection was wonderful and went really well with the delicious food. Thank you Wendy for choosing the first wine. The Pino Grigio was fantastic. ”
