Installing, Configuring and Customizing ColdFusion Builder

What is the best way to install ColdFusion Builder?  How can I get it to run most efficiently? How can I customize it to my preferred working style?  How do I add tools to the environment to make me more productive?

We'll answer these questions with a discussion and live demonstrations.

Folks, Michael pointed out something I missed on the slidedeck. Where I mentioned installing the Java client, you will need to install both the 32-bit and 64-bit Java clients. I updated the slidedeck to reflect that, and added the URL to the Java.com page for manually downloading both versions. Here is the updated slidedeck: https://www.dropbox.com/s/w26860fa8e0e5jb/BACFUG%2020130820.pdf

Carl was thorough and clear and as he described the step he was doing on his PC - I did the same parallel steps on my Mac Book Pro and installed and configured my system with Eclipse 3.7.2 CF Builder 2.01 and a bunch of recommended plugins. Look forward to add to this setup during upcoming meetings.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
