Santa Rosa Junior College will for the first time be presenting CS 55.17 - Developing Web Application using Java Technologies for the fall semester with classes starting on August 23rd. This is a begining web application development course that is appropriate for those who have some experience with Java programming, but are new to web application development.

The course will be offered in hybrid organization of both in person and online. Lectures will be broadcast over the internet for online students, an archive of recordings will be maintained for the student to view on their on schedule.

Catalog Description:
This class will introduce the student to the Java technologies used to build web
applications. Students will create a Java web project that integrates database,
password protection and cookie processing that can be applied to web
applications such as shopping carts, auction sites, and portal web sites.

Prerequisites:
Course Completion of CS 50.11B (HTML) and CS 17.11 (Java Programming)
