  • Mar 25, 2013 · 7:15 PM

Hey friends,

Our next meetup "March BWB Meetup" will be on 25 March 2013, 19:15PM

We will have 3 slots for 15 min presentations. If you want to have a talk, please contact me.

Scheduled talks and presentations:

1. "A web analytics tool – deciding on the right stack" by Christian Wallin
Christian just founded a bootstrapped tech startup and he is going through the ups and downs of first customers, hiring, deciding on the right tech stack and rapid prototyping. I will share my experiences and insights and would like to have a discussion on choosing the right tech stack.
keywords: analytics, startup

2. "Intro to Real-Time Sync with Pubnub" by William Madden
Frequently web applications need to keep front-end representations of data in sync as models change on the server. In this talk I'll give an introduction to PubNub, a real-time publish/subscribe messaging service, explain how it can be used to solve this problem and show you how we did it in our application Geddit (
keywords: pubnub, real-time messaging

3. "Sorting Domain Objects via Vector Space Classification" by Martin W. Kirst
In theoretical computer science, the family of classification algorithms is well known. Usually you will find one of them in Spam filters (Bayes) or when Amazon recommends you new "red boots". The talk will explain how to sort any kind of domain objects via Vector space classification. The concrete implementation runs in Eclipse P2, choosing/sorting the be suited download mirror server. In this talk author will use the same algorithm to sort burgers. Thanks to the math behind, this is easily possible.
keywords: vector space classification

P.S. if somebody knows a company that could be interesting in sponsorship (providing perks/discounts, buying pizza or beer etc.)  for our group, please don't hesitate to let me know.
