Event Guidelines and Fees
Any member can start or suggest an event. They become the coordinator of the event and set the destination, date and rules and provide all necessary information. Please ask me to make you an assistant organizer so you can add it to the calendar and coordinate properly with the participants. Do not try to use the message board to coordinate an event.
Encouraged Donation:
To cover the cost of the Meetup.com fees I have setup an "Encouraged Donation" $12.00 to sponsor a month on the home page. If there are excess $'s donated, the $'s will be used for the bonfire and barbecue expenses.
Event Guidelines:
The event should be named with the destination and dates.
The event rules should include
- Minimum and maximum participants
- Estimated difficulty (1 to 5 scale?)
- Additional expected costs (campground fee?s, Adventure Pass, etc)
- Ridesharing information (how many, how much $)
- Any other restrictions preferred by the event coordinator (non smoking, vegetarian, no alcohol etc.)
- Preferred contact method
The more info the better, links to maps and websites, book and page references.
