Introduction
I love the outdoors here - have been hiking for some time, but just started backpacking last year. As most people in this group - I'm looking for other people who get out of town. And info about new destinations will be an added bonus, right? ;-)
What type of backpacking equipment do you have?
pretty much all I need: tiny 2-person tent, pad, sleeping bags (summer and winter-y), pack, stove, etc.

Where would you like to go backpacking?
the list is much longer than "where have you been" - but for now anywhere close enough for a weekend trip
What type of special skills do you have (e.g. CPR certified, scuba certified, can build a snow cave, etc.)

I am thinking we might want to start up a 4 Corners Canyoneering MeetUp. The idea would be to focus our slot attentions on places like North Wash, The Roost and Swell, Lake Powell, Ouray, Dinosaur and other canyoneering havens within a weekend, or long weekend of the 4 Corners. What do you think?
