Utah is beautiful, so I want to explore it any chance I get. I am far from being the expert, but I can handle myself. Do not feel bad asking "stupid" questions, because I rather be safe than sorry.
Usual supplies nothing too special.
I have extra of just about everything.
Utah: Uintas, Roberts Roost, Moab, Zion. California: Joshua Tree, Mt. Baldy (Baden Powell), Mt. Pinos, Catalina Island, Anza-Borrego, all over Eastern Sierras.
Anywhere - Colorado Plateau, Red Fish Lake, Abroad somewhere in the Tropics.
Lifeguard, it was a little more helpful in California.
Hey, Matt!! Looking forward to those changes. Already suggested an event.
Welcome to the group, Matt!
Howdy! Please consider joining http://www.meetup.com/canyoneering. While we're based in Los Angeles, we have members from all over the Southwest who offer trips, courses and practices all over California, Nevada, Arizona and Utah. Members are allowed to suggest meetups and most are approved/announced within a couple hours. Within reason we let this meetup run itself. We only intervene when there's an issue of ethics or safety. Please join .. it's free and the members are awesome! Klaus
Awesome event at North Wash, Matt. Thanks to you, Tom, Leo and everyone who made it a great weekend with some real fun canyons and canyoneers. Did you do Howwarts and if so, how did you like it?
Glad to see you're knee is OK to do D & D Canyon. I do nto expect to be there; hopefully we'll be doing something in the Roost; but that is not a 'for sure'. You will get a chance to meet my wife, Mary Hertert who will be Dingin n Dangin that day.
