RE: [backpackers-138] Anybody planning any trips?

For the same reason, September is a good time to be high anywhere ‘round these parts – snow melt.

I’m not ready to commit but would say that you’ve chosen a cool part of the park.

Yes, High Divide, that's it - couldn't remember with out my maps in front of me  :)   I have it in one of my books that this makes a good 3-day look, and I also hear that September is a nice time to be in the Olympics especially if you want to be up high.

I imagine you're thinking of the High Divide & Bailey Range?

I have literally every weekend planned until mid-September; at which point I want to get over the the Olympics.

I'm looking at a 3-day ridge-walk loop that starts and ends at Sol Duc Hot Springs.  Could turn into a 4-day to add time for exploration, if work schedules allow.

Anyone interested?

Hi fellow "Ubers",

I don't see any outings on the Uberbackpacker calendar. Anyone interested in planning a overnighter next weekend or for some of the weekends this summer? Also interested in something longer in August or Sept.

Let me know

Mark
