Since my second attempt at retirement I have spent a considerable amount of time exploring the wilderness of this great nation we call America. Wether are by dirt path, asphalt or water it is not the destination but the journey.
I have been a member of Central Indiana Wilderness Culb for several years. I am always looking to find other people with like and similar interests to mine.
Isle Royale at this time. My next trip is the one I look most forward to.
I think I am seasoned, while I have never completed any of the large 2,000 miler trips, I have made serval trips of a week or longer in duration. I have been at this since early in my youth when I would camp in the state parks with my parents.

I'm really excited for this trip to BSFRR! This will be my first backpacking trip of the year and I can't wait. I've never been on a backpacking trip with people I've never met, but I've heard nothing but good things about outdoors-loving
Meetup groups like this one.
Thanks for all your help on my hike. Just knowing you we're back there put me at ease as I knew no matter what may happen you would handle it. See you on the trail soon. Keep in touch.
Thank you for your response, I am sure I will be joining you on some hikes soon. Happy Trails.
Welcome to the group, James! The Deam is my favorite spot around here too. Looking forward to hiking with you!
Hey James, so glad your coming. I sure could use you as a helper kinda like backup for what might come up, some lead ,some sweep maybe first aid, if you are up for it.
Thank you, Jim! Your help was much appreciated on Wednesday with our tired, hot hikers.
Great to see you! Hope we will meet again soon.
P.S. - Made the 20 miles. Felt great :-)
James, my plans have changed and I'll no longer be attending the Ft. Desoto meetup on Jan. 25th and 26th. It looks like there's others with campsites to share.
Always nice to see you, Jim! Thanks again for another great hike. Have fun in Florida, and it will be nice to see you in the spring!
In response to your message, I could lead a meetup event with some guidance (I just joined this site yesterday). I am a member of Hoosier Heights and could easily lead a top rope/boulder event.
James (great name) , thanks for joining the IMG, I hope you have years of good times to look back on with this group. There are a LOT of chances to meet great bike loving people and a ton of roads out there to share with the IMG. VZ
