Did I leave my axe at the site?

I have it and was using it to chip the rough edges off my concrete driveway. It worked well but it seems to be a little dull now.

So glad I finally made a meetup and got to meet some of the group. Nice to just relax and chat around the fire. Also fun to test the hammock and -20 bag in the cold :)

Hopefully we'll see you at our next meetup! Thanks for joining us this weekend and hopefully you had a good time on the lake afterwards.

Well organized, great camp setup with extra rain covers, nonstop fire good, a couple of 1st timers contributed their good will, the good moods and conversations were accented by visiting members, sharing by all and an overall great social event. The only damper to the event was the somewhat damp weather. I'd give this a ten but "Honey Badger" wont let me

I think I'll make it out there tonight. I'll have my bike as well. Probably heading to Two Rivers to kitesurf tomorrow, though.

Had too cancel as may be working Sat.
Also the 9 day Gun deer hunt doesnt start until next Sat. the 23rd so blaze orange isnt necessary. It isnt allowed near the upper trails anyway.
    Hope its not a washout!

By the way, the park map links to devils lake state park map for some reason.

So weird. It's for sure a high cliff map. Must be because that link showed Devils lake before and somehow "behind the scene" of the site, it never re-linked properly...

The directions map and downloadable park maps both worked for me. Did it get fixed already?

Melanie, will we have running water and do we have the campsite number yet? I will probably get there midafternoon so where do I go???
The weather sounds like it'll be balmy; I hope it don't get too warm for you. I heard that starting in November Canadians put on three layers of long underwear for warmth and rotate them thru the winter so they don't have to wash.

I may get there a earlier than that to check out the bike trails. Is there a way you can let me know which one you get? If it's dead obvious, we are the only ones, then I'll find you guys then otherwise, could you leave a note somewhere with which one you got?

      November 14, 2013

    • Melanie

I'll be bringing a sign that says: FOX CITIES BACKPACKERS and will be in the back of a Nissan Cube. Obvious enough right? :)

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
