  • Hi
I am based out of Singapore and have two holidays in August 7th and 8th coming up during which I am planning to take up a Vietnam Tour -
One friend of mine has taken up this tour and is raving about it.
People traveling from India can feel free to stay with me in Singapore in my apartment to explore the lovely Island city and can plan their Vietnam Trip from Singapore

to provide an approx Idea - The Vietnam itinerary looks like this:

Ho Chi Min(HCM) – Cu Chi – HCM ( start 8.00 – return 14.00 ) Located 60km from HCMC, Cu Chi is now a popular spot for both Vietnamese & foreignnetwork of over 200km. the tourists tunnels became legendary when they played a vital role in the War. In their heyday, the tunnels were functioning underground cities including numerous living constructed weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers & kitchens. Today, ducks and water buffalos happily co-exist in the rivers along the side of the road. Visitors will find destruction, damage & defoliation over this whole area, caused by bombing and mines. There is plenty of evidence of the fierce battle that took place here during the 1960s when Cu Chi was a "Free Target Zone".
Return to Sai Gon. The price: 16 USD / pax *Included: A/c transfer, English speaking guide, 01 mineral water/pax. admission fee to the tunnels + Hotel pick up *Excluded: Travel insurance, drinks, meals, personal costs *Drop off point:– Add: 220 De Tham St, Dist

Visit a family business which epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle, coconut candy & observe the pastoral life as you roam through the fruit plantation and village. Meet the bus and return to HCMC. This trip provides a fascinating insight into daily life in the Mekong Delta and you are guaranteed to take home your own private collection of beautiful memories. The price: 22 USD/ pax *Included: A/c transfer, English speaking guide, boat trips, 01 BETTER lunch, fruit, honey tea & all entrance fees, 01 mineral water/pax.+ Hotel pick up ( district one only ) *Excluded: Travel insurance, drinks, personal costs

hi , i had visited cambodia and vietnam in october 2013.. i had a 15 day itinerary and it was way short as its an amazing place, that you have chosen..
my recommendation as you only have 6 days, stick to the north vietnam and instead of Tam Coc (its overrated and doesnt offer much), you should instead travel to SAPA.. its the mountains region and is absolutely gorgeous.. i recommend you start your journey at Danang-(HOI-AN) and travel up north to hanoi, to sapa, back to hanoi and cover halong overnight on the if you need any help in the places i stayed id be willing to share the details...just ask me..

I have done Vietnam last winters. Its an amazing country. Personally i found north better then south. Nah Trang and Da Nang should not be missed if possible. Hanoi and Halong Bay is an experience.( Stay at old boats in Halong bay)

P.S. Be cautious of tourist scams. always buy tickets from authorized agents.
