Fundraiser Tournament 8/23 hosted by PAANC CMM

Greetings, fellow baddies!

The Philippine-American Association of North Carolina (PAANC) is hosting a fun tournament to raise funds for its 24th annual Carolina Medical Mission (CMM) wherein a group of approximately 30 American doctors, nurses and staff volunteer free medical services to the indigent inhabitants of the Philippines. We bring our expertise and our own supplies purchased here to assist those who can not afford services such as dental extractions and cleft/cataract surgery, just to name a few. The chosen site for our January 2015 mission is Cebu province in the southern islands. Local staff assists us and provides access to medical facilities. We have an excellent track record, and all the necessary legal and health documents have already been approved since this is our 24th mission. This will be the first badminton fundraiser I've organized on behalf of the CMM, and I am reaching out to you to please help in this worthwhile cause.

All (100%) of the proceeds of the fundraiser go towards the purchase of supplies, and your contribution is tax-deductible (PAANC is a 501 3c non-profit organization). The cost for each event is $15 for regular participants and $10 for students. Levels of play will be advanced, intermediate and novice for men's and women's singles, as well as doubles and mixed. We reserve the right to combine levels should there be a need to do so.
