Are you shy? Do your people skills suck? Do you have a hard time making new friends?  Are you tired of your friends trying to "fix" you by telling you to relax, be more outgoing, in other words, "get over your shyness" ? 

Do you wish you could hang with a group of people who understand you, who won't judge you for being quiet, for how you look, for how you smell, (ok, please don't stink), or if you say the wrong things, or don't say anything at all - in short - for being socially awkward?  Have you ever read such a long-winded string of questions?    

This the group for the socially awkward, whether you're single or married, straight or gay, left-handed or wrong-handed, dead or alive. We are those who have social anxiety; the people who have interesting things to say, but can't manage to say them in large groups.   

Activities include anything fun and interesting: hiking, watching sport, just hanging out @ bars, indoor skydiving, dining out, wine tasting, staring contests, forming small groups for travel excursions.   Whatever we decide to do, one thing's certain: we'll make sure to have plenty of awkward silence.  

You don't have to be a geek, a nerd, a software engineer, or a redditor to join the group.  You just need to have a healthy dose of social anxiety.
