This group is for Vegans and Vegetarians in the Bakersfield area! It will give us a chance to network, plan events, and to spend time with like minded people in an area where there aren't many with alternative lifestyles.

It is not required to take part in other events (informative demonstrations, etc.) to attend the meet-up portion of the group! :)

We are currently seeking suggestions for meet-up locations (restaurants, free or VERY inexpensive meeting halls that allow food, etc.) and veg*n's willing to host potluck style events!

We encourage everyone to bring vegan dishes to the potlucks, so that everyone may enjoy. If you do bring a vegetarian dish, please label it as such. Children are welcome at the meet-ups unless otherwise stated.
