“ Cheap at £15 for a month course. We have two qualified and experienced male trainers plus two assistants and our teaching style leans towards social dancing rather than competition style. There's a cosmopolitan mix, the majority of students are under forty with about even numbers of men and women, there's a friendly helpful atmosphere, the students mainly change partners every five minutes during lessons and during social dancing evenings, so students don't have to bring a partner. And there's free tea and biscuits. Once a month we hold a formal dress black tie ball with a strict tempo ten piece dance orchestra. On the same Saturday, once a month, we do a four hour course for absoloute beginners - 'learn to dance in a day' and a five hour workshop for improvers. The cost for the workshop and the evening dance is only £15 , and tickets are available on line through 'we got tickets' under the name 'Black Tie Ballroom Club'. Or phone George on[masked] 1490. “ Oh, it was very very good. It's very well organized. It's an old-fashioned place with all of the positive meaning. Tea and cookies have been served. Plenty of people attended, so enough chance to get experienced. I just loved it. I'm definitely going back again. ”

“ We had so much fun last Sunday, it was second week of cha cha cha and pre-Valentine party, Tony brought along some wine and nibbles which made some of us (me included!!) quite giggly!!!! Lovely - thanks Tony. And of course thanks David for the excellent class too. Everybody is so friendly too. I love this class and Sunday is a great day to do it on, when I'd otherwise be doing nothing. See you all next week for quickstep - looking forward to it. ”
