"Friday evening in Brandon was howling with excitement at the Way 2 Dance Studio (610 Oakfield Dr.) as they celebrated Halloween with a Spooktacular Showcase Extravaganza.  Fun was had by a packed house in activities hosted by owner Tatyana Frost.  A costume contest, potluck dinner, games, open dancing and a spectacular showcase of amateur couple and pro/am couples performances made the evening truly memorable. Imagine the amazing...  ghosts, goblins and spectres dancing foxtrot, salsa, tango, waltz, rumba, merengue in full regalia.   Not even the videos and photos are enough to show the fun.
Congratulations go to Debbie and Al Tauro in the costume contest for best couple.  Their Captain Jack Sparrow and Calisto costumes were wonderfully authentic.  Best solo costume went to Tad Savell who attended the event as a werewolf.  Best female performance was shared by Jenna Regis for her Vienesse waltz and by Jordan Jensen, a ten year old student, for her west coast swing to Michael Jackson's Thriller.  Best male performance went to Steve Travers for his Elvis inspired swing which was performed in prison black and whites.  Special acknowledgement goes to the best couple Dominic and Rhonda Calabro's amateur  performance.  The vampire couple celebrated the beauty of the night with the waltz..
  Individuals who started only three months ago are already showcasing entire routines in full costume. No doubt, anyone can make the dream come true!

The Gallery Hop event went very well! We hope you will be able to participate in the next one, in 2011! It a great way meet local artists,  and celebrate Life! To be involved in arts means to be healthy in mind & body. You are on my email list and it means you are part of it! Support the Arts!

























We met many wonderful happy people at the Gallery Hop event and hope they enjoyed our non-stop, all day classes... Our all favorite student Rick spent all day day with us taking variety of classes.. He admitted he didn't take Zumba and Belly Dance... May be next time? :-)

Congratulations to Yvette that won The Way 2 Dance Grand basket which offers to her and her husband all month of ballroom dance classes from Monday till Thursday as well as Friday Socials!












The value of the basket was more than $280.00.. they may redeem it only if they have stamina to be at our studio every evening... Do you think they are strong enough? I know they are.. and that is why:

























Yvette started her Gallery Hop with The Way 2 Dance studio at 9:30am taking Zumba class.. She ended up taking The Way 2 Dance studio classes at 4:30pm with her husband learning Cha-Cha and Tango, taught by our wonderful and very patient instructor Tad Savell. Yvette spent all day at our studio taking variety of classes  and took only few breaks to go to the closest other venues.












When they all were leaving, I mentioned that they really deserve to win a basket for their hard work!

























And guess what?! Good luck smiled upon Yvette, the lady that said to me: "I have never ever won anything in my life.."  and now she is The Winner!
