Beginning Salsa and Bachata Lessons

You're invited to Beginning Salsa and Bachata Lessons with Terri and Pam. Starting April 12, we'll be teaching on the 2nd and 4th Friday nights

We'll teach something new each lesson so you can attend just one lesson or as many as you like. These are fun dances and good exercise.  You will learn dance skills that can help you when learning other partner dances too.

Cost: $6 per class

Partner not required. Wear shoes with backs, with slick soles.

So what is Bachata? It originated in the Domincan Republic, it's popular internationally and there are different styles. It's easy to learn and is danced at Salsa venues and Salsa Socials around town. To see one example of Bachata, click on the clip:

To sign up: Please rsvp on this site but also contact Alex Saber on[masked] or [masked] as the church would like a count of who is coming. Give him your name and date(s) of attendance.  If you sign up and something happens to change your plans to attend, please let us know.  Thanks!

These classes are open to the community--you don't have to be a church member to attend. Several other meetups are attending.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
