TUESDAYS - January

7:00 pm Rumba Begin learning how to dance with the romantic, easy to dance rumba. It's latin movement begins on the first step as you learn to move to the rhythms starting at the beginning of the month progressing with each week, reviewing the week before. Easy patterns, slow turns, and cuban motion! Learn at an easy pace and pick up the speed with the music.

8:00  Quickstep - Learn the basics from quarter turns to a lock step followed by a natural turn to a hesitation. The almagamation of steps make it easy to move around the floor with a pre-determined combination of steps. There are several combinations to choose from. First, one step at a time. Getting comfortable with connection with a partner makes dancing so much more comfortable. It's about the basics that make such a quick dance so much easier to do. Come join us!

Directions to A Dance With Me: When some people have used the GPS for the 1201 I-35 address, they have been sent to the wrong location near downtown Carrollton. We are located north of Belt Line on the southbound side,  south of Sandy Lake In Mike’s Hobby Shop Building - north end. We are two buildings pass the Grainger building.

From George Bush, go to 35E South.
From 635, go to 35E North.

From I-35E going North: Take the Sandy Lake Road exit, and make a U-turn
under the bridge. Head South on the service road. Continue as below.
From I-35E going South: Take the Sandy Lake Road exit. Go through light at
Sandy Lake, and continue South on the service road. Continue as below.

On southbound 35E service road, pass the Harley Davidson dealer, and pass a
Grainger building. Then slow down. Turn right into Mike's Hobby Shop.
There's a "298" in big yellow numbers on the side of the building. The Dance
Studio's entrance is on the right front of the building where the wood
deck is. If you get to Belt Line, you went too far. Make a u-turn under 35
at Belt Line, and go to Sandy Lake exit.
