Dec 1: Volunteering For Habitat For Humanity

Habitat for Humanity of the Chesapeake

Here's your chance to volunteer for a great cause.  We may be doing carpentry (framing walls, building decks, laying sub-floors), concrete work, fencing, clean-up, demolition, siding, painting or insulation). For more information visit

Volunteer hours start at 8:30 a.m. and end at 3:30 p.m. This is a full day of working with a one-hour lunch break.

What you need to bring to the worksite:

1) Completed waiver form. The form is online, at the website, or contact me and I will email one.

2) Shoes that have no open toes, like sneakers or boots.

3) Workgloves if you need them.

4) Lunch and/or money for lunch snacks, drinks and water.

Note: Habitat for Humanity provides tools, safety glasses, hard hats, dust mask and drinking water from a cooler only.

If anyone needs to contact me, call my cell phone at[masked] or email me at [masked]

I want to thank everyone in advance for your support and help... Jim

The address for this meetup has change to a new location in the same neighborhood due to Habitat wanting to get these house completed before the end of the year. Dumbarton is a one way street with the houses being on the left side, which are single family homes.
