Normally I wouldn't mind the walk but not in the rain. Plus, there's a long wait list and I'm only half way through the book. I'll give my spot to someone who's finished

Sorry to back out. I'm super super low on money this month. The book so far is interesting. I will definitely finish it and would like to take part in any continued discussion on line. Hopefully next month I'll be in a better financial position to be able to actually leave my house.,, lol

I haven't finished the book yet so I'll give my spot to someone else that has completed it. Thanks for sending out these notifications. I'm so glad I signed up for this group!

Was really looking forward to it, but am now stuck in Florida for a funeral.

My condolences. Sorry you can't make it. You picked a great book. Come next month and we'll probably still be talking about it. :)

One of the best books I have read in recent memory!

Loved this one! I highly recommend the audiobook version read by Fenella Woolgar - she does a perfect Irish scullery maid, west country housekeeper, English lady, etc. :)
