Watch Marvel Comics Anime (X-Men, Iron Man, Blade)

Three years ago, Marvel Comics created an anime based on 4 of their properties with Madhouse Studios.  Those titles were Blade, Wolverine, X-Men, & Iron Man.  Each one is 12 episodes long, so lets chose one and watch it.

Which one are you interested in?  I do not recommend Wolverine.  It's the only one I haven't seen because the reviews for it say it's really awful, and not a laugh-at to enjoy kind of awful.

Iron Man is an interesting blend of Japanese and American storytelling.  Tony Stark travels to Japan to unviel his new reactor that will power all of Japan for 100 years.  However, some people don't want that to happen.  Who from Tony's past is after him, and what is the technological terrorist group, Zodiac?

Jean Grey was killed by the Phoenix.  Now, 1 year later, the X-Men must reform to save missing mutant children from Japan.  However, they are able to save one of them, Armor, as well as Emma Frost, who might have been responsible for Jean's death.  Together they must become a team again and stop the deadly mutant plague, fight the G-Men (humans who harvest mutant parts for themselves to give themselves mutant powers), and stop the Hellfire Club from ruling the world.

Wolverine travels to Japan to save his true love, Mariko Yashida from her father, head of the Japanese crime syndicate and munitions supplier for the scientific terrorist group A.I.M.

Blade is a half-human, half-vampire.  He finally discovers Deacon Frost, the man who killed his mother and made him who he is.  At the same time, a young hunter, unable to realize her family were turned into vampires and that Blade had to kill them, hunts him.  These two hunters must learn to work together if they are to stop the underground vampire organization "Existence" from taking over the world.

Unfortunately I can't come, I'll be in New Orleans this weekend. But if you all are having trouble deciding, I will say the Iron Man one is really good. Pretty good story (though there is some poetic license, so hold back the nerd rage marvel fanboys/fangirls), great visuals and Tony Stark being Tony Stark. C'mon its Japan, you know they'd do justice to a Mech Super hero ;3.
