Watch Time of Eve, Aquarion Evol, and Play Some Pachinko!

I've been in the area for a little while now and I'm finally finishing up settling into my house. What better way to celebrate than to watch some anime! I'll be showing the "Time of Eve (Eve no Jikan)" ONA series, probably the first 4 episodes of "Aquarion Evol", and if we have time perhaps the animated short "Cat Shit One". I've also got three Japanese pachinko machines and one pachislo (slots) machine that people can play on as well! The pachinko machines are Sakura Wars, Enter the Matrix, and Macross Frontier. The pachislo is a Street Fighter II one.

Here's a picture of my mini pachinko parlor:

Just a side note, my house is on a corner of a cul-de-sac. I ask that you try not to park in the actual cul-de-sac (circled in red in the image below) in respect to my neighbors since many of them park their cars along the streets and need the space. There is plenty of parking space in front of my house and on the adjacent streets.

So if I can get off of work tomorrow, do you mind me being a last minute add on?

Sure, no problem. The more the merrier!

Just an update. Originally I had planned to have my entire house painted and situated by the event, but painting has gotten way behind schedule. But that's okay, we can still have fun watching anime in my half-painted house!

I will also be providing drinks/snacks, but don't expect anything healthy!

I've recently been made aware that some GPS'es might not correctly navigate to my house. My Garmin doesn't have any problems, but some might direct you to a spot a block or two short of my house. If you don't see 7889 or see the cul-de-sac then just keep driving further down the road. To make things easier, I'll hang a Survey Corp banner from Attack on Titan at my door. See the following image for how it looks like. I'll probably try to trim some of the branches on my tree so that it can be more visible.

I never played Pachinko or pachislo. Do I need to bring quarters or something?

Nope, you don't need anything. These machine are playable as soon as you power them on and I've got the tokens and balls needed to operate them. Just FYI, gambling is technically illegal in Japan, so no money is put into the machine and no money is spit out (although most modern pachinko machines can be hooked up to card readers/payment systems to allow you to buy the balls right at the machine). You basically buy the tokens or balls, play the machine, and then exchange the tokens or balls for prizes. You'd have to walk outside of the pachinko parlor to an exchange booth (usually run by the yakuza) to exchange the prizes for money.

I probably won't be able to stay long, but I would at least like to stop by and catch some Time of Eve. It's one of my favorites!

Something came up and so I'll have to push the event back a couple of weeks. It should be set in stone this time!

Not really, cause that would be the day after = hangover day. Don' tchange things on my account though :3

Hangover day - totally understandable. Have fun at the wine event!
